You’ll need your event photos and access to a computer so you can upload them to SpotMyPhotos. Also, you’ll need a plan for how you’ll distribute your Self-Spotting link or QR code to guests (for example, via email or event app, or if preparing ahead of the event, upon any form of event signage whether print, digital or business cards)
Your guests have 14 days from your event to register to receive their photos.
If you want to share photos instantly with your guests, want to share more than 1,500 photos per event, want to use SpotMyPhotos for at least 3 events per month, or need more time for guests to register, you may want to consider leveling up to the SpotMyPhotos Pro Plan.
Go is for photographers who have periodic needs to share photos privately and leaner event teams where sharing photos instantly may not be a priority or possible. Go is also a great plan for newer photographers who are looking to embrace more modern forms of event photography. SpotMyPhotos Pro and Pro Plus are for professional photographers and agencies who are adding SpotMyPhotos photo sharing capabilities into how they deliver photos to their clients and event guests.
If your event has a post-event email or an event app, use those channels to share the registration link or corresponding QR code with your guests. Then once you upload photos, registered guests will be notified automatically if they’ve been Spotted (appear in a photo from your event).
If they register to receive their photos before you upload photos, they will see a confirmation page that they will be notified if they are Spotted in a photo once they are uploaded. If they register after you have uploaded photos, they will receive an automatic notification and a link to their personalized gallery with the photos they are in.
SpotMyPhotos is focused on privacy, so our default is to share just the photos your guest appears in rather than the entire event gallery. While you can make the entire event gallery available to your guests, we recommend instead using a feature which allows you to curate the photos that appear in your Highlights Gallery, which can be made available to everyone at your event.
